BIOGRAPHY
JASON SHARMAN is a freelance film editor, writer, director and producer based in Toronto, Ontario. He is a highly skilled, self-motivated, creative, and enthusiastic individual with over 12 years of experience in the film and television industry.
In addition to the creative side, Jason has managed the business administration (filing CRTC, CAVCO, Ontario Creates, CMF applications and more) for hundreds of film and television productions.
His recent credits include feature film The River You Step In (Editor/Producer), Canadian Idol Winner Theo Tams' music video The Last Song (Editor), kids tv series Camp Cowabunga (Creator/Writer/Director/Editor/Producer) and October Faction (Business Administration).
With a passion for storytelling, Jason loves collaborating with fellow filmmakers and artists to help bring their stories to the screen.
Jason has a BFA in Theatre from York University where he focused his studies on collective creation, playwriting, and directing.
